Why I created Make It Marker

I created the Make It Marker because I was missing putts in the 4-10 foot range that were relatively "flat", meaning I would putt and it would miss left or right but not due to break but because I misread how flat it was. I kept on saying "wow didn't break" and I found myself playing too much break on flat putts or not lining up at the hole. The Make It Marker has one dark center line and two angled lines both at 3 degrees. Most "flat feeling putts" are 2 degrees of slope or less. So the angle lines act as a "boundary" in terms of do not play more break than these lines on a "flat" putt.

USGA Approval

I have submitted the Make It Marker to USGA Equipment Testing center. I should hear back by mid June on the approval. Currently, I spoke to a USGA device center employee on the phone and their initial thought was that the Make It Marker should comply with the ball marker rules. However, they requested me to submit the Make It Marker for formal approval.
